El canal de películas y series TBS veryfunny (Turner) adquirió las comedias norteamericanas The Millers y We Are Men para transmitirlas en exclusiva para Latinoamérica. Comenzarán a exhibirse en el primer trimestre de 2014.

“Con esta adquisición estamos ampliando el catálogo de TBS con una importante dosis de humor, que refuerza nuestro compromiso de entregar una programación que garantice el entretenimiento. Queremos que la audiencia nos vea como la mejor alternativa de humor en la TV paga”, aseguró el Vicepresidente Senior y Gerente General de los Canales de Tendencia de Turner, Felipe de Stefani.

The Millers fue escrita por Greg García y está protagonizada por Will Arnett, que interpreta un periodista que se separa de su mujer y tiene que convivir con su madre, también divorciada recientemente. Mientras que en We Are Men actúan Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell y Kal Penn, quienes interpretan un grupo de vecinos sin suerte en el amor. Ambas series fueron producidas por CBS y se estrenarán en octubre en Estados Unidos.The movie and series channel TBS Very Funny (Turner) acquired the North American comedies The Millers and We Are Men to broadcast them with exclusive rights for Latin America. The Millers was written by Greg García and is starred by Will Arnett, who plays a journalist that separates from his wife and has to live with his mother, who has also recently divorced. While We Are Men has Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell and Kal Penn, who play a group of neighbors who are unlucky in love. Both series were produced by CBS and will premiere in October in the United States.
