Pay-TV company, StarTimes along with Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) have announced that they are bringing FIFA U17 World Cup matches.
The tournament in being held between October 17 and November 8 in Chile. NTA TV Enterprises holds exclusive TV rights for the event for Nigeria as well as Africa. According to Maxwell Loko, who is the Managing Director of NTA TV, the company is collaborating with other partners to bring the matches on NTA sports network as well as other free-to-air sports platform.
“We are always excited by the Golden Eaglets because of their impressive record in FIFA U-17 World Cup. They also have a trophy winning habit which is why we have concluded plans to air their live matches’ schedule that falls within two times belts to the local viewers,” Loko said, according to AllAfrica.com.
