StarTimes, the pay-TV operator from the StarTimes Group, has introduced its satellite based television service called ‘StarTimes TV’, in Ghana. With over 8 million African subscribers, StarTimes will enable its users to have access to more than 440 authorised channels on the content platform.
Ghanaian customers will have access to the new packages which include Telenovelas, TV series, Religion, Fashion, Movies, Sports, News, Entertainment, Documentaries, Children’s programming, Music and local channels.
At the launch, Akofa Djankui Head of Marketing at Startime Ghana Startime Ghana, commented on the development: “We have country specific channels for local dialect customers. To this end there are plans of producing new Ghana-specific StarTimes channels for the Ghanaian viewer. We keep improving our content and adding better channels to provide a better viewing experience for our Ghanaian customers”.
To recall, decoders for StarTimes subscription are available at 140 GHS (35.21 USD). Bouquets of StarTimes is comprised of SUPER 60 GHS (15.09 USD) for more than 90 of the world’s best channels, and SMART 30 GHS (7.54 USD) for over 60 of the world’s best channels; and NOVA 15 GHS (3.77 USD) for above 30 of the world’s best channels.
