StarTimes to air FIFA Club World Cup

StarTimes is bringing the live coverage of the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup to all football enthusiasts. As part of its commitment to broadcast sporting content to its growing number of subscribers, the Pay TV company has promised to broadcast the remaining matches of the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup in the country. The tournament started at the United Arab Emirates on December 6 and will run till December 16.

Seven clubs are in action in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’s Hazza Bin Zayed stadiums. The event started with an astonishing win from Al Jazira beating Auckland City 1-0. Other teams taking part in the tournament are namely, Asian champions Urawa Reds, CAF champions Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, Mexico’s side Pachuca, Gremino and the UEFA Champions League holder Real Madrid.

The all-champions football tournament, currently in its 13th edition, is a FIFA organised international club football tournament between champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, as well as the national league champion from the host country.
