Spotify will launch its activities in the South Africa today

Spotify will begin to provide today, its services on the South African territory. The information was revealed by email to South African media memburn and taken up by many information sites of the Rainbow Nation.

This launch comes to end years of Spotify’s teasing towards the South African population. In 2014, an agreement between Spotify and Vodacom was to bring the Swedish company to South Africa. In recent months, on many occasions, the world leader in music streaming has suggested an installation in the country.

Finally, a few days ago, Spotifiy invited many South African media to an event for March 13th. This is, as some people felt, the launching ceremony of the Swedish streaming platform in South Africa.

What delight local artists who can monetize their productions more effectively on a platform that has 71 million paying subscribers.
