Sony Entertainment Television (SET), the Hindi general entertainment channel will be introducing news fiction shows as from April, to boost its programming during weekdays.

The first show to be released is entitle, ‘Jaat ki Jugni’, on April 3. It will be aired from Monday to Friday. There are other two shows named, ‘Porus’ and ‘Rab Se Manga Tujhe’, whose launching dates are yet to be finalized.

The show, ‘Jaat ki Jugni’ will be replacing ‘Ek Rishta Sajhedari Ka’. It is produced by Rashami Sharma Productions, inspired by Bollywood movie ‘Anari’ in 1993. Featuring in the series are Madirakshi Mundle and Vishal Vashishtha as the main protagonists. The story revolves around a girl named Munni, falling in love with a local boy named Bittu.

The other show, ‘Porus’, is a Greek historical drama involving King Porus. It is produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary of Swastik Productions, marking the first historical Greek show to be aired on a Hindi GEC.

On the other hand, ‘Rab Se Manga Tujhe’ is one telling the story of a girl suffering from a health problem.
