Sony SAB, the general entertainment channel owned by Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt Ltd is collaborating with Twitter, to introduce a social initiative for the novel show entitled ‘Y.A.R.O K Tashan’. An exclusive Twitter BOT was generated, representing the Humanoid Y.A.R.O, the main character of the show.
Any person on Twitter will be able to tweet any questions having as hashtag #SABKaYaro, with a response back within just a second. The humanoid, to recall, stretches about the relationship with friends and family, the importance of love and humanity.
Anooj Kapoor, the senior executive vice president and business head at SAB TV: “The partnership with Twitter is intended to provide our potential viewers a holistic experience of extraordinary powers of Y.A.R.O. The initiative makes it convenient for people to access Twitter and comprehend the genius of Y.A.R.O”.
On the other hand, Viral Jani, the head of TV Partnerships, Twitter India: “Twitter is live, public and conversational and we encourage our partners to use our platform in an innovative manner and to its full potential. This initiative is a great example of bringing alive a character on Twitter as an auto-response bot, and amplifying it to audiences by showcasing Tweets on a billboard in real time”.
