RTVE has officially launched its new children’s channel, Clan International, which seeks to satisfy the entertainment and training demands of children up to 12 years old, with a catalog of 80% of Spanish productions.
The Spanish company said the channel will be mainly focused on the pre-school audience, both in the 2-4 year age group and in the 4-7 year age group, who will receive 82% of the programming.
The new channel, which has already been presented at several international trade shows, joins RTVE’s international portfolio of channels, which includes TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas and STAR HD.
Clan Internacional is now available on Movistar Colombia and RTVE expects that by 2018 it will reach all the countries if America. In a press conference, RTVE commercial director Rodolfo Domínguez said that negotiations have been opened with numerous pay TV operators in the US. and other countries in Latin America, where the channel will be available in the coming weeks, Europa Press reported.
Its programming lineup includes shows such as “Pumkin Reports”, “Cleo”, “Tutu”, “Desafío Champions”, “Yoko”, “Bat Pat”, “Big Band Clan” and “Lunnis”.
