The Radio Television Española (RTVE) TV channel has already started its broadcasts in FTA TV for Puerto Rico through Telecinco Inc. It is a 24-hour channel based on news, debates, live broadcasts and other cultural and current contents.
‘We are very happy and confident wit this new launching. The new format will allow the Puerto Rican audience to be informed and have access to the most relevant news from Spain and around the world, every day and at any time’, said Andres Ramirez de Arellano, Telecinco Inc.’s President.
RTVE’s authorities have also expressed themselves on this issue through Rodolfo Dominguez, its Commercial Director. ‘We are sure that the Television Española (TVE) 24 hours programming TV channel will be liked by the Puerto Rican audience. We are very pleased with this opportunity to work together again with Telecinco Inc. under this new format, and we wish it a los of success’, he said.
The 24-hour TV channel was launched on September 15th, 1997. It is available in more than two million homes in Latin America, now reinforcing its potential audience by reaching audience from Puerto Rico.
