RedeTV! to air the Premier League

Brazilian broadcaster RedeTV! announced that it will air one game per week of the Premier League, one of the most important soccer tournaments in the world. The deal includes games of the 2018/2019 season.
RedeTV! signed a sub-licensing agreement with ESPN, which has the rights for pay TV for the next four years. The English league is scheduled to start on August 11. In this way, soccer matches will return to the channel’s programming. Until last year, RedeTV! had the rights to broadcast the second division of the Brazilian Championship.
According to Maquina do Esporte site, the Premier Legue was broadcast by RedeTV! until 2011. In addition, other tournaments such as the Champions League and the Italian championship were also part of its programming offer. In the sports segment, the RedeTV! currently offers the female and male Superleague of Voley.
