The hit Netflix political drama “House of Cards” will premiere on Pay TV for the first time through Paramount Channel Latin America.
The first season of the series will be available in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia on March 14, while in Chile and Argentina will air on Wednesday, March 15, according to the website of the channel.
“House of Cards” is an adaptation of the novel by Michael Dobbs and was created by Beau Willimon. The story revolves around the ambitious Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his quest for the presidency of the United States. The series has already been renewed for a fifth season on Netflix.
In Brazil, the largest operator of the country, Net, and DTH service Claro, both owned by América Móvil, will give free access to the channel to all its subscribers to promote the launch of the series.
