Viu, the over-the-top (OTT) service provided by Vuclip which is a premium mobile video on demand service in India, has recently revealed its exclusive digital rights for the broadcast of the well-known movie ‘One Night Stand’. The Hindi thriller drama thriller will be aired primarily on Viu, the video streaming service of Vuclip, with the rights lasting for 21 days.
‘One Night Stand’, the Indian movie was released in the month of May this year, written by Bhavani Iyer and directed by Jasmine D’Souza. The main protagonists are Sunny Leone, Nyra Banerjee and Tanuj Virwani. This particular movie will add up to the existing collection of Sunny Leone’s films on Viu which does not exclude ‘Ragini MMS2’ and ‘Jackpot’. Behind-the-scenes bloopers and recent interviews of the particular actress will also be available to the subscribers.
Viu, the OTT service to recall, was launched this year, in the month of March, with around 42,000 hours of content across Bollywood (Jazbaa, Singh is Bling, Main Tera Hero), English (War and Peace, Olympus, Critical), regional and music. Having already forged partnerships with top production houses and content users including Sony Music, Balaji Motion Pictures, Shemaroo, BBC Worldwide and Reliance Big Entertainment Pvt Ltd among others, Viu also features around 3,000 hours of music, in the form of music videos from Bollywood as well as western artists like Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and Marvin Gaye.
