OTT platform ALT Balaji to enter into kids segment

ALT Balaji the OTT service of Balaji Telefilms is now going to enter the children’s entertainment market with new and original shows.

The App comes with parental control allowing to control the content available for the younglings. ALT Balaji will release animated shows such as Moe doe about friendship between a dinosaur and a kid, Happy Lucky Ki Katti Batti a learning channel to teach maths, logic and etiquette. Cartoons will be available as well such as Little Krishna and Shuriken School.

ALT Balaji CEO Nachiket Pantvaidya declared: “Over the last few years, there’s been a paradigm shift from TV to mobile consumption, which is especially true for Generation Z apart from parents today. Kids’ entertainment on mobile and tablets has made them invincible; parents can control what the kids are learning or watching, and they can decide what time they should watch it”.
