Ooredoo TV to offer latest movies and series in MENA

The telecom operator in the MENA region offers exciting viewing experience, Ooredoo’s plug and play entertainment service enable users to ‘build their own bundle’, which can then be extended according to customer preference with 13 add-on packs.

The Director of Consumer Sales of Ooredoo, Feras bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, said, “We are very excited to see Ooredoo TV becoming the preferred choice of home entertainment for more and more people in Oman. It gained instant success thanks to the range of content and flexibility. Our exciting plans provide and ever-increasing range of uninterrupted content on-demand. What’s more, users, whether existing Ooredoo customers or not, have the choice of signing up for a fixed term contract or subscribe on a monthly basis.”

Customers can choose between signing up for a TV only subscription with a one-time 63 USD fee (OMR 24) and as little as 15 USD (OMR 6) a month, or a Home Bundle which comprises Ooredoo TV for only 11 USD (OMR 4) a month when subscribing to Ooredoo’s Fast Home Internet.

Ooredoo is offering a set-top box which enables customers to plug in to the internet, connect their TV, and begin watching their shows within minutes. Providing customers with 24/7 access, anytime, anywhere, subscribers are also able to access their TV through the app and enjoy the same content from the palm of their hand, at no additional cost.

Ooredoo TV offers a wide list of content partners including STARZ PLAY, YuppTV, ALTBalaji, Filmbox, Hopster, Weyak and Spuul. With access to over 6,500 hours of the latest on-demand series and blockbuster movies, users can enjoy genres including US Movies, US Dramas, Kids and Arabic content.
