Brazilian telecommunication company Oi announced that its bundled service “Oi Total”, which includes fixed-line, mobile, broadband and pay TV services, has one million customers. The target is to reach two million clients by December, Oi retail director, Bernardo Winik, told Globo.
Since the launch of Oi Total, in April 2016, 30% of the activations were from customers who never had a company product before. “By reaching one million Oi Total customers we are talking about close to three million activated products. In addition, we experienced a decrease up to 50% in churn when customers choose to have three or more services in one package, “said Winik.
With this strategy, the company aims to reduce the decrease of fixed clients. “Two years ago we lost one million fixed-line customers. Last year, with this package, that figure fell to 500, 000 and the goal is to continue reducing that loss,” Winik told Globo. For this reason, the company plans to launch new convergent plans in April.
The Oi Total offer includes three plans: Completo (TV, mobile, broadband and fixed-line), Residencial (TV, broadband, fixed-line) and Conectado (mobile, broadband and fixed-line).
