Novi Digital Entertainment, a subsidiary of Star India, has extended its association with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Novi has acquired broadcast rights to Indian Premier League for INR3.02 billion for three years, 2015-17.

The rights include internet and mobile rights for Indian subcontinent and rest of the world, besides broadcast rights for certain territories. The reserve price for the three-year rights was set at INR1.2 billion

“Our partnership with Novi Digital Entertainment augurs well for the Pepsi IPL as well as the millions of fans who follow the tournament and we are delighted to commence an association with the organisation whose bid was found to be the most deserving,” said Sanjay Patel, Secretary of BCCI.

The BCCI had floated a tender for IPL media rights for 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons last month. The BCCI had received bids from Times Internet, Multi Screen Media and Novi Digital Entertainment.
