Netflix releases ‘Stranger Things’ 360° video

Netflix has launched on its YouTube channel a new 360° video promoting the new series “Stranger Things”. The video recreates one of the scenes of the mystery show.

This is the first time Netflix has used virtual reality to promote one of its shows. The VR experience allows users to rotate their screens to see the 360-degree view of the Byers family room, where the scene is set.

The video clip lasts about two minutes. It can be viewed on a Smartphone with Google Cardboard or any or any kind of 360 VR viewer.

The story centers around the mysterious disappearance of a young boy named Will. His mother, played by Winona Ryder, opens up an investigation into his disappearance that begins to unravel mysteries and top-secret government experiments, supernatural forces and a very strange little girl.
