Movistar has launched its DTH service in Nicaragua, which became the first Central American country where the company offers pay TV.
The commercial offer includes two packages. The first one, called Pro HD, includes 74 channels, of which five are national channels, 54 are available in SD and 15 in HD, for USD 16.99 (plus VAT) per month.
In turn, the Full HD plan costs USD 29.99 (plus VAT) per month and offers 84 channels, including 10 premium networks in HD from HBO MAX and FOX+ packages, as well as all the channels included in Pro Plan HD.
The new pay TV service is also available in prepaid model with TVPacks that can be activated at national recharging points.
In addition, the customer has the option to acquire a Smart HD set-top box, which gives users access to Movistar Play, the online service that offers movies and documentaries, among other contents.
