Mexican football team Tigres may launch its own TV channel

Mexican football team  Tigres de la UANL -better known as ‘Tigres’-, may launch its own TV channel. According to what Mexican newspaper Reforma reported, Tigre’s TV channel would be named ‘Tigres TV’, focused on the sports club.

In Mexico, the Guadalajara Sports Club, better known as ‘Chivas’, already has its OTT ‘Chivas TV’ available, as well as other football teams outside the country, that also have their own platforms or TV channels, such as Real Madrid (Real Madrid TV), Barcelona FC  (Barça TV), Manchester City (Man City For TV), and others.

Recently, Afizzionados , TV channel owned by Televisa, officially reported that from this MX League season, it will broadcast all Tigre’s local matches. It will exclusively broadcast 12 Tigre’s matches during the Apertura 2019 and Clausura 2020 competitions.
