Mediastream expands in Latin America

Mediastream, the company specializing in streaming services, announced the opening of a new office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which will be led by Martin Mazza, former executive of DirecTV, who joins the company as Head of Business Development.
Mediastream also confirmed that it will soon expand to a new market, where it will also open local offices. Mediastream was founded in 2007 in Chile and has also offices in Colombia, Brazil and the United States. In the new Buenos Aires office there will be a commercial equipment, and support and investments in the expansion of its CDN.
“Argentina is a big market, full of opportunities and large media and content companies, of which we want to be a great ally. We will be close with a local team,” said Luis Ahumada, CEO of Mediastream. “We are confident that we will be a great contribution, especially after the experience shown in the last World Cup, reaching records in the region,” the executive added.
Ahumada will participate as speaker in the next edition of NexTV Series Mexico & Central America, the leading conference to be held on September 25 & 26 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel of CDMX.
