Mediamax Network Limited is all in for the launching of a new vernacular (native language) TV station for its growing audience. It will be entitled ‘Kameme TV’ and will be introduced before end of March.
Associated to Uhuru Kenyatta, the President of Kenya, the TV station will be available around the clock in Kikuyu language (native language of Kenya). Mediamax, to recall, owns K24 (Kenya’s Television online streaming and live TV viewing), the People Daily Newspaper, Milele FM and a slew of radio stations in native language.
The aim of this move is to actually cater for the increasing popularity of vernacular TV viewership in the market
