My.T, the IPTV service owned by the Mauritius Telecom which is a telecommunications company in Mauritius, has got some good news for its subscribers. Football enthusiasts especially, will be thrilled with my.T being able to screen football matches of the English Premier League starting this month.
Mauritius Telecom has entered into a partnership with SFR, the French telecommunications company for the launching of its new bouquet ‘Sports Pack’, consisting of five channels in HD, namely; SFR Sport 1, Sport 2 SFR, SFR Sport 3, BFM Sport and Sport 5. In addition to the English Premier League football matches, an assortment of other sports’ competition happening around the globe will be available too.
To begin with, SFR Sport 1 is the English Premier League channel which will be screening all the 380 matches of the tournament. SFR Sports 2, on the other hand will consist of all sports including Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby and Tennis among others. SFR Sport 3 will be the channel airing extreme sports consisting of skateboard roller skating, air race, freestyle skiing, kite surfing and freestyle motocross, while BFM Sports will be the news channel with exclusives, reports and investigations. SFR Sport 5 will be the chain of combat sports and martial arts which includes taekwondo, sumo, karate, muay thai and wushu among others.
Sherry Singh, the chief executive officer of Mauritius Telecom, said that: “One of the five priorities of Mauritius Telecom, is the creation of added value for customers. The ‘Sports Pack’ which enriches the my.t content, reflects this priority”.
Subscription will be charged 499 MUR (14.14 USD) monthly and all the five channels will be in Catch-Up mode. Sport programs and other soccer games which have been broadcasted since the last seven days can be reviewed and its free of charge.
