Living Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (LEEL), owned by the Essel Group, has acquired four new licences by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). The four licences are in the name of Living Flavourz, Living Travelz, Living Rootz and Z Living.

Revealing its plans two years back, Essel Group will now launch infotainment channels under the ‘Living’ brand.  The very first channel to be launched under the brand was ‘Living Foodz’, followed by ‘Living Zen’. The first one is about food and lifestyle channel while the second one concerns health and wellness.

While the licences of the two channels are held under Essel’s TV entertainment network Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), Living Entertainment (the subsidiary of Essel), houses the channels

Living Foodz and Living Zen’s ad sales and distribution of are being handled by ZEEL and the content and marketing aspect is being managed independently by Living Entertainment.

To recall, when Living Foodz was introduced, Subhash Chandra, the chairman of Essel Group had unveiled plans about the launch of three more channels under the ‘Living’ brand within the next 18 months, which included Living Rootz, Living Travelz and Living Homez.
