Kwese TV, Pan African broadcaster, has added the Ezekiel TV channel produced by Zimbabwe Assemblies of God (ZAOGA) to its free-to-air line-up as one of five Kwesé Free TV channels offered in Zimbabwe. This move is part of the ‘always on’ service that allows anyone with a Kwesé TV decoder to watch FTA channels even when they do not have an active pay-TV subscription.
The channel was birthed from a local operational broadcasting ministry of ZAOGA known as EGEA Broadcasting, in Harare, Zimbabwe. This ministry, up until now, serves as the major production house for Ezekiel TV and for the church worldwide. Ezekiel TV is the first Christian satellite television channel from Zimbabwe, and the first to present international live broadcasts from various conferences and gatherings in Zimbabwe and abroad.
The channel broadcasts from its uplink facilities in Centurion, South Africa and beams to a large audience across Africa and Europe via satellite, and to the rest of the world via online streaming. Econet Founder and Chairman, Strive Masiyiwa announced that there will be channel additions to Kwese TV back on 31 October 2017.
