Kwesé TV, the African pay-TV broadcaster, is strengthening its sports offering with world class boxing series from Kalakoda Promotions. It is a deal extending over three years which make Kwesé Sports the exclusive broadcaster of the particular competition.
Friday Fight Nights, the boxing program will be showcasing boxers from across Africa, fighting for a title across all weight categories. The competition will begin on Friday 31 March. Fighters will hail from 10 African countries for the African Boxing Union Titles.
The first title fight (ABU Welterweight Title) will be between Cristiano Ndombassy, the Angolan fighter and Anelisa Qungisa from South Africa. The second title fight will consist of South African heavyweight Ruann “The Giant King” Visser confronting with Ashraf Suleiman from Tanzania for the ABU Heavyweight Title.
Other fights include that between Likola Liboka Didier from DRC with Falay Kubeya from Uganda, alongside that of Marc Subramoney and Steve Nwosu from Nigeria, among others. The tournament, to recall, will be accessible on Kwesé Sports 1 and channel 300 on the Kwesé TV bouquet.
