Imira signs deals in Latin America

Spain’s Imira Entertainment, a producer-distributor of kids content, has announced several deals for Latin America, prior to MIPJunior y MIPCOM, where it will present new series.

The company said that Netflix acquired “Bat Pat” (52 × 11 ‘) for Latin America (excluding Brazil) and Spain. This is the series produced by Imira, Atlantyca Ent, Rai, TVE and Mondo TV. The streaming giant had already acquired seven titles in early 2017.

In addition, Telefónica has acquired seven titles for its platform in Peru and Ecuador; Globosat will add “Hogie the Trotamundos” and “Yoyo” in Brazil, while VTR has acquired six Imira titles for its service in Chile.
