Imagen Televisión announces new programming

Mexican broadcaster Imagen Televisión announced its 2019 programming slate. Olegario Vázquez Aldir, CEO of Grupo Empresarial Ángeles, to which Grupo Imagen belongs, highlighted that in less than two years, the network reached a 15% market share.
“We are not afraid of competition, we have never been scared by competition or the battle to win the interest of audiences, we are innovative and perseverant, we are excited about the moment the country is living,” the executive added. The event had the presence of advertisers, publicists and content producers.
“It is a great pleasure for me to be able to meet once again to celebrate together the second anniversary of Grupo Imagen. When we set out on this road, we were convinced of having a third television network. Today I can say that we were right.”
Among the new programming announced is the serie “La Guzmán”, based on the life of the “Queen of rock”, Alejandra Guzmán, starring Colombian actress Majida Issa.
Other productions include “Super Papá” and the action thriller “12 Segundos”, a co-production between Viacom-Telefe, Chile’s Mega and Imagen Television.
In turn, Imagen Entretenimiento renews its partnership with Discovery Home & Health for the co-production of several cooking formats, such as “Oye al Chef”.
In addition, Imagen Televisión will continue to air international series such as the Chinese production “Princesa Valiente”, as well as “Lifeline”, the new Turkish TV phenomenon.
