Orange customers in Egypt will now be served with hours of digital entertainment on their mobile phone following the latest partnership of the company with ICFLIX, which is the online streaming service provider in Middle East North Africa.
Mobile users from the particular telecom operator will have access to a library of content from ICFLIX that includes Jazwood (Arabic) smash hit movies and TV series. Alongside, will be critically acclaimed Hollywood titles and Bollywood classics, as well as documentaries and entertainment for kids.
The first month will be free a trial for the customers and the subscription fee will afterwards be at 49 EGP (2.91 USD) monthly. The weekly subscription will be charged at 15 EGP (0.89 USD) while the daily package will be priced at 10 EGP (0.59 USD).
Commenting about the deal, Amine Lalami, chief commercial officer at Icflix, said: “The strategic partnership will offer mobile customers a value-for-money entertainment experience, allowing them to binge-watch TV series or stream their favourite movies on their smart phones, through a simple subscription process. This will give customers the freedom to choose, when, where and how they watch their favourite movie or TV series”.
At the other end, Ashraf Halim, the chief commercial officer of Orange Egypt, declared: “Orange is always keen on providing a unique experience to its customers to best meet their needs by reinventing the customer relationship and enriching their daily experience. Orange will continue on the path of providing products and services that fulfil customers’ needs as it considers their convenience and satisfaction a top priority”.
