Pakistan-based Hum TV has signed a content deal with Eros Now, which is the video-on-demand arm of the Indian distribution company, Eros International.
The content agreement will bring HUM TV shows such as Daastan and Zindagi Gulzar Hai on the VOD platform. Eros Now subscribers will also have access to the channel’s content 48 hours before telecast. Hum TV is a 24-hour entertainment channel from Pakistan and broadcasts programming across different genres.
“We are extremely happy to introduce Pakistan’s popular soaps to a new digital generation of South Asians globally and add to our roster of content. The partnership with a leading channel like Hum will give our subscribers an opportunity to view the much sought after and varied Pakistani content,” said Rishika Lulla Singh, who is the CEO of Eros Now.
Last year, Eros Now had entered into an agreement with Zee TV for daily soaps such as Pavitra Rishta, Fear Files, Ek Mutti Aasmaan, Jodha Akbar and Kumkum Bhagya.
