History Latin America has closed an agreement with BBC Worldwide to broadcast the series “Life Below Zero” in the region. The third season will be broadcast by History in all screens during this year, while the fourth season will be available in 2018.
“Life Below Zero” follows a group of people as they battle for the most basic necessities in Alaska. The series is produced by Adjacent Productions.
“We believe that Life Below Zero has all the ingredients that fans of factual television look for in a series: great characters, monumental natural scenery, and the adrenaline to face extraordinary lives with dangers that are unknown for most of us”, commented Miguel Brailovsky, SVP of programming and production at A+E Networks.
In turn, Anna Gordon, executive vice president and managing director of BBC Worldwide Latin America/US Hispanic, said “this agreement underscores the interest in BBC Worldwide’s content and validates our strategy to offer audiences in Latin America some of our most popular titles across a variety of platforms including pay TV networks, video streaming platforms and free-to-air channels”.
