GRB Entertainment has recently licensed several shows including family-themed docuseries and lifestyle shows to the pay-tv operator StarTimes and Azam TV. The shows will be aired in Tanzania and Uganda, amongst other countries in Africa.
StarTimes has acquired five seasons of ‘My First Home’. The show is about first-time homebuyers going through the process of searching for their first property. Also, included in the deal is, ‘Recipe Rehab’, which is an American cooking television program where two chefs are challenged to turn their family meals into healthier alternatives.
On the other hand, Azam TV, has acquired three seasons of ‘Tamar And Vince’ which is an American reality television series. The series revolves around Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert, who are a couple. Tamar makes her way through the music superstardom and the show is all about the struggles that she and her husband, both encounter in their marriage, including the release of her first album.
Michael Lolato, the senior VP of international distribution at GRB Entertainment, commented: “GRB is known around the world for its catalog of lifestyle programming, especially in the food and family space. These are great programs for the entire family”.
