Gol reaches 50% of fleet equipped with Internet on board

A year after the launch of the service, Brazilian airline Gol announced that its Gol Online platform, which provides on board connectivity, is already present in 60 aircraft, half of the company’s fleet, totaling more than 250,000 accesses in this period.

Gol Online system allows customers to enjoy a vast free catalog of on board entertainment, which contains series, movies, drawings and flight map, the company explained in a press release. The forecast is that, by the end of 2018, the entire fleet will be equipped with Gol Online connectivity and entertainment system.

All access is done by the customer’s own mobile device – cell phone, tablet or notebook, and to charge the equipment USB recharging jacks are located below the seats.
