FOX Sports to broadcast womens soccer matches in Mexico

FOX Sports Latin America announced that it has acquired the broadcast rights to six women’s soccer teams in Mexico: Chivas, Pachuca, Monterrey, León, Xolos and Santos. The deal will run until 2023 and includes pay TV and digital platforms and.

The network will broadcast weekly at least one match in which the teams from these six teams play home and will also provide additional information before, during and after the matches through its shows Central FOX, FOX Sports Radio and Agenda FOX Sports , as well as in its digital platforms.

The matches will be part of FS FMX in FOX Sports, a franchise that gives identity to Mexican soccer teams in local and international tournaments. The action is expected to begin this month in linear and non-linear channels throughout Latin America.

“Following the successful broadcast of its first women’s match during Pachuca vs America, FOX Sports has positioned itself as the first Latin American channel to support this women’s competition; we are delighted to raise the bar extending it now to all home matches of these six first division teams,” said  Carlos Martinez, President of FOX Networks Group Latin America.
