Fox Networks Group announced that its SVOD package, called Fox+, is now available on App Store and Google Play in Brazil, through the Fox app. In this way, the company further expands the reach of this service, which was launched in the country in May.
Fox+ package offers live streaming of the group’s 11 channels, as well as VOD content, for a monthly subscription of R$ 35.90 (USD 8.8). Fox+ includes features such as Reverse EPG, Start Over, recommendations and personalized content, among others. It is available in smartphones, tablets, PCs, SmarTVs, video game consoles, Chromecast and Apple TV.
In September, the service will have the premiere of “American Horror Story”, on September 13, and “Pose”, on September 28, both by Ryan Murphy. Sports fans can also access tournaments such as the Spanish Championship, the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, among others.
According to Michel Piestun, General Manager of FNG in Brazil, this is “a unique experience of online TV in the country and the major launch of Fox Networks Group in Latin America in recent years. We are going to expand our business model and reach households that do not have a pay TV subscription.”
Piestun will participate as speaker in the next edition of NexTV Series Brazil, the leading conference organized by Dataxis, to be held in Sao Paulo on November 28 and 29.
In Brazil, the channel’s portfolio includes Fox, Fox Life, FX, Fox Premium 1, Fox Premium 2, Fox Sports, Fox Sports 2, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Kids and Baby TV.
