FOX announced audience results in Latin America of the return of “Prison Break”, one of the network’s hit series. The premiere episode was watched by 1.6 million viewers, positioning FOX as #1 pay-TV channel in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Chile.
In Brazil, the broadcast of the first episode of the series had excellent results among the millennials with the highest audience registered by FOX this year, with 2.13 points, beating its closest competitor by 42%.
The success was replicated in Argentina, where the premiere episode reached 2.09 points, while in Colombia, it reached 2.01 rating points. In Chile the return of the series recorded 1.38 points, accorging to data provided by Kantar Ibope Media.
In social networks, the hashtag #PrisonBreak was Trending Topic at a global level leading the conversation around the show.
