Facebook has closed a deal for reality competition series “Last State Standing” from American “Ninja Warrior” producers A. Smith & Co, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new series will feature 50 contestants — one from every state in the U.S. — competing in games for a chance to win a USD 500,000 cash prize.
Production on the series has already begun in Los Angeles. However, a premiere date, episode count and rollout plan has not been revealed yet.
In addition, the social network is in talks to continue Nicole Byer’s comedy “Loosely Exactly Nicole”, which canceled after a its firts season. The plot is based on Byer’s experiences while living and working in Los Angeles.
