ETV refurbishes its channels in five states

ETV channels in Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh, Bihar/Jharkhand and Rajasthan are revamping their channels alongside the launching of new shows.

A part of Network18, Panorama Television, operates a list of 13 channels available across 26 states in which ETV and News 18 brands fall in.

Rajesh Raina, the group editor at ETV News Network, said: “We feel that these changes will help us further consolidate our position as the leading news channel in each state. We believe that the channels’ refreshed look will further strengthen our connect with our viewers as they will get an enriched viewer experience while we continue to provide them the news that matters to them most”.

All three channel will be airing ‘Prime Debate’, with the same format except for the news content of the show which will be focusing on the state’s top news. ‘Tafteesh’, a new crime show will be accessible on all three channels and will feature the most recent crime stories from each state. Other shows like News Trendz on ETV MP and Seedhi Saat on ETV Rajasthan will be offered.

Avinash Kaul, the MD of A + E Networks and president – strategy, product & alliance at Network 18, commented: “We are committed to bring the best in terms of content, formats and packaging to the viewers of ETV in each state. ETV channels in UP/Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Karnataka have already been revamped. The changes that are being effected in these three channels now are a part of the same process towards ensuring a consistent, common and superlative viewing experience”.
