English Club TV, the educational TV Network for learning English, has announced that, starting April 1, it will encrypt its channel, broadcast from the satellite Hispasat 30W-5, using the Viaccess 4.0 system.

The channel was launched in Latin America and the Caribbean in September 2016 and for a few months has been broadcast from Hispasat satellite in a test regime. Now, the channel will use the Viacess solution to encrypt its signal in North and Latin America.

Meanwhile, English Club TV is negotiating carriage deals with pay TV operators. In an interview with NexTV News Latam, CEO Andrew Semchenko, said they are in talks with the key players in Latin America and already have preliminary agreements.
