The north American company Disney announced that it will increase the contents inversion for the OTT Hulu, and it will also offer it internationally, because, at present, it is only available in the US and Japan. The news was spread by Bob Iger, CEO of the corporation.
These guidelines would be put into practice once Disney buys 21 st Century Fox (it is prevented to be at half of 2019), because, that way, it would have a 60 % of the shares of streaming services. Iger also added that they could get a major percentage in the future (Camcast has a 30 % and AT&T a 10 %).
The Hulu SVOD service in the US costs USD 7,99 monthly, but currently there is a new offer available for new users, which will pay USD 5,99 per monthly (including one month free). The OTT also includes a SVOD + TV service, in which the user, in addition to its access at all the contents mentioned, can enjoy more than 50 lineal TV channels. This second service costs USD 39,99 every 30 days.
