The Arab lifestyle television channel owned by Takhayal Entertainment, which is in turn part of Discovery Communications, Fatafeat, is upgrading its digital offering with a slew of new shows for the family.
The new collection will include ‘Sweet Memories’ season 2. It will be premiered in March and involves the preparation of desserts and baked goods with the chef Daa’d Abu Jaber. A selection of programmes including the offering of short-form videos will be served. Above 1500 short-form videos for the digital offering expansion will be available, alongside ‘North African Cuisine’, which is a cooking show as well.
Amanda Turnbull, VP & Country Manager, Discovery Networks MENA, commented about the development: “Fatafeat is one of the most loved Arabic channels in the Middle East, with a full 360 brand experience that has helped it amass an impressive network of super-fans across the region”.
“With MIS on board, we hope to build on the channel’s success and leverage their expertise in offering specialised media solutions to generate greater commercial value and provide an even better brand experience for our Fatafeat fans”, she further added.
