Pay TV channel Comedy Central, which is part of the Viacom’s portfolio, announced it begun producing new shows at Telefe’s studios, the Argentine TV broadcaster that was acquired by the media company at the end of 2016.

Comedy Central start producing the first season of ” La Culpa es de Cortés” and the third season of the successful show “A Culpa é do Cabral”. “La Culpa es de Cortés” is the first version of this format with 100% Mexican comedians. It will have 12 one-hour episodes. In turn, “A Culpa é do Cabral” will reunite prominent Brazilian comedians in a season of 13 episodes.

The synergy between Viacom and Telefe has already begun this year with the new reality show “Despedida de Solteros”. Telefe broadcasts the show on free to air, while MTV offers additional content in “Despedida de Solteros: MTV After Hours”. In addition, Telefe airs Nick Jr. preschool programming block on its lineup.
