Argentina’s free access OTT service Cine.Ar Play, developed by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the telecommunications company Arsat, will launch a catalog with national films, which will be available globally.
The announcement was made by the president of INCAA, Ralph Haiek and the president of Arsat, Rodrigo de Loredo, during the 32nd Mar del Plata International Film Festival. In the conference were also the director Juan Taratuto and the social media advisor, Julián Gallo.
According to the executives, the international catalog contains more than 150 titles of national productions and will be available free of charge around the world.
During the event, the executives highlighted the launch of the platform on LG’s Smart TV and announced the integration, during the next year, of the TVOD service called Cine.Ar Estrenos in main platforms such as Cablevisión Flow, Claro TV, Telefónica and Qubit.
