Mexico’s Club Deportivo Guadalajara announced that it has partnered with Cinépolis to show Chivas home matches in more than 100 in movie theatres located in 25 states of the country. The agreement began on August 5.
Tickets cost MX$ 50 (USD 2.8) for traditional theatres and MX $99 (USD 5.5) for VIP theatres. In addition, customers can purchase the ‘Cinebono’, which includes access to the nine matches of the season for MX $405 (USD 22.6) available at the box office or in Cinépolis’s digital systems: App and Facebook, the company said a statement.
“With this unprecedented commercial partnership between two proudly Mexican companies, Cinépolis and Chivas confirm their leadership in their respective segments by offering to more than 35 million ‘Chivas brothers’ an additional and innovative way to enjoy the matches of the Rebaño Sagrado”, said the companies in its statement. The matches of the Mexican team are also available on the OTT service Cinépolis Klic, which belongs to the movie theatres chain.
