Children’s channels to simultaneously broadcast animated short on inclusion

The main children’s channels will broadcast simultaneously, on Friday, November 30, “Ian, una historia que nos movilizará”, a short film about inclusion based on a true story and created from Argentina by the same team behind the award-winning film “Metegol”.
The film was officially presented by Mundoloco Animation Studios and Fundación Ian. It will be available on Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, the channels of Disney Channels Latin America (Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD), Nickelodeon Latin America, Paka-Paka and also the YouTube Kids platform.
This is a production that seeks to “positively influence the way people relate to disability, to value differences, respect and fight for their desires, and build a more inclusive and supportive society,” explained the foundation in a press release.
The film was created by Gastón Gorali, produced by Juan José Campanella and directed by Abel Goldfarb. It was already declared of interest by the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina, began its international tour in the prestigious Cannes festival and received numerous international awards.
The animated short is based on the real story of Ian, a 10-year-old boy, and his mother Sheila Graschinsky, president of Fundación Ian, an organization that aims to improve the quality of life of people with neurological and motor diseases.
