Argentina’s largest pay TV operator, Cablevisión, announced that it will launch nine new HD channels in September and will reach 70 in that technology. This way, the company seeks to “meet the needs of its customers, understanding the differential of a wide and robust content offering”.
Starting on September 1, Cablevision will add Comedy Central (on channel 661), Food Networks (664), A3 Series (657), KZO (663), Crónica TV (616), Europa&Europa (665), Fox Life (659), Animal Planet (673) and ID Discovery (660). In addition, the operator will add ESPN+ in SD (104). Channels will be also available on multi-screen service Cablevision Flow.
This way, the operator continues to strengthen its high definition offer. In May, Cablevision had reached 61 channels in HD technology following the incorporation of LN+, City Magazine, Discovery Kids and Cinemax. Cablevisión is present in 12 provinces and more than 100 localities in Argentina. The company also has operations in Uruguay.
