BCCI seeks tender applications for IPL media rights

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued tender notice for media rights relating to the Pepsi Indian Premier League for 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons. BCCI has planned to offer two media rights packages – Indian Subcontinent: Internet and Mobile Rights and Rest of the World (Certain Territories): Television, Audio, Internet and Mobile rights.

“The IPL will aim to enhance the viewing, digital and interactive experience for cricket fans across the globe, by introducing diverse consumer-friendly innovations that will bring them closer to the action in their favourite sporting league,” said Sanjay Patel, Secretary of BCCI.

BCCI has requested interested bidders to send in applications from 22 January to 2 February with a demand draft of INR200,000 which is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
