Atresplayer Premium, Atresmedia’s OTT, also available in Latin America

Atresplayer Premium, the Spanish company Atresmedia SVOD OTT, will be available in Latin America with a vast content catalog, aimed especially for people from Spain residing outside the country and Spanish-speaking users. The OTT offers an extensive VOD catalog and the possibility to access to live Antena 3, International, La Sexta, Antena 3 contents, and others.

The company also announced that it is already working on new fiction, entertainment, news and documentary productions for the platforms, which records more than 75 thousand global subscribers. It will also premiere its contents channels days before their broadcast. In all cases, contents will be shown without advertising, with Dolby sound, 4K images, the possibility of downloading them offline, subtitles in original language and contents from the last seven days available. According to what the company officially reported, the first contents to arrive at the platform will be the miniseries ‘Cuatro bodas y un funeral’, the series ‘El nudo’ and the Atresmedia Studios production, Veneno.

The inclusion of additional original content, together with the linear channels and the entire catalog of series and programs that we already have, will undoubtedly contribute to generating a first level product that, we are sure, will be of the utmost interest not only for people from Spain abroad, but also for any Spanish-speaking person’, said Javier Nuche, General Director of Atresmedia International.

Access to Atresplayer Premium can be done globally from computers, tablets, smartphones, Samsung and LG smart TVs and companies using Android TV operating system. The OTT can also be accessed through external devices such as Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick or STBs with Android TV, and on Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems. The company reported to Nextv News that the OTT’s subscription costs are not yet adapted to local currencies, but will be soon.
