Atresmedia expands OTT platform

Atresmedia announced the global launch of its OTT platform, Atresplayer, with a subscription model (after a free-month trial) and without commercial breaks. In its international version, the service presents a renewed design and provides access to live content from its linear channels, as well as a library with TV series and news and entertainment shows.
Atresplayer includes features such as 4K quality, live playback control, offline viewing, personalization and recommendations, among others. The content offer includes the group’s FTA channels (Antena 3, La Sexta); Flooxer (the brand aimed at a young audience); Atresmedia’s internationally success series with extra content in catch up mode; entertainment shows; news (500 hours in prime time, 1,500 hours of news and 2,200 hours of daily magazine), and an extensive SVOD catalog of series (7,500 hours).
According to the company Atresplayer “is available on every screens to adapt to the users’ pace of life and their preferred device, so that they can decide not only when to watch the content but also how.”
According to its website, the OTT is available through its the website, apps for iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices, game consoles, Smart TVs and systems such as Google Chromecast, AirPlay, Apple TV and Android TV.
