Amazon launches the Fire TV device in India with the collaboration of Airtel. The new device will allow to access Amazon premium content as well as other streaming service such as Youtube or Hotstar. Customers will have to pay a US$ 61.86 in order to buy the device plus subscriptions fees to access service streaming which are not partner with the brand.

During the three months following the purchase customers will enjoy a 30-day prime trial. Airtel the Indian phone operator offers 100GB of high-speed data for 3 months and You Broadband offers 240GB.

Bharti Airtel director of consumer business declared about those partnership: “We are delighted to partner Amazon to enable a superior online content experience through our platforms. We invite customers to experience the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote Fire TV on Airtel and also enjoy thousands of movies with Airtel Movies.”

Airtel launched his new STB earlier this month which contains 4G home which will allow for a smooth streaming of the SVOD company. Amazon also financed a TV show based on the highest grossing Bollywood movie of all times Baahubali: The Lost Legends
