Airtel Nigeria, the telecommunications company headquartered in India, has partnered with Trace, the music and lifestyle broadcaster. The collaboration between the two companies will bring the launch of a ‘free to browse’ video streaming and download platform, named ‘Trace Plus’.

Customers will be offered seamless exclusive video content which include state-of-the-art music videos, comedy pieces, news about celebrities and gist. Preferred content can be downloaded, as well be streamed by the subscribers. The platform offers more than 3000 videos which includes contributions from worldwide content producers like Clarence Peters and Mark Angel and Trace Naija.

Ahmad Mokhles, the Chief Commercial Officer at Airtel Nigeria, said: “Airtel is constantly exploring new frontiers to develop innovative products specifically designed for the youths who are dear to the brand”.

Further, he said: “The new ‘TRACEPlus’ is a testament to our commitment to providing our consumers top notch content at very affordable cost. Beyond entertainment, the product is also an empowerment tool as it gives content producers and developers the opportunity to generate income for themselves while doing what they love doing best”.
